William had an excellent art education starting at the Musée de beaux arts, Montreal, Canada, with Gentile
Tondino, Patrick Landsley, Guido Molinari and Arthur Lismer. He later went on to a the École de Beaux Arts, in Montreal, where he studied with Umberto Bruni, Jacques de Tonnencoeur, Clement Picard and Roland Pichet.

William Papier  had his first exhibition at the Montreal Peace Centre (1965), and in the course of 40 years
of work and study, his paintings have been exhibited at Montreal's Galerie Libre, The Roberts Gallery,
La Galerie Maximum, La Galerie de Ville, and The Douglas Gallery in Ottawa. William participates in
numerous exhibitions, and is well known in the art community.

Mr. Papier’s paintings are held in private and public collections.
